Abstract:
The workplace environment has changed. Customers are more demanding, co-workers look out for themselves and great customer service may be a thing of the past. If we stay in the status quo and do not seek to understand the present facets of the workplace we will cause unnecessary tribulation and have unhappy people. Trying to force a one inch square into a one inch circle you obviously come up against resistance. Though their measurements are the same they are differently structured. Just as people have commonalities they do not necessarily fit easily into the daily work structure. Training styles, communication styles, personalities, backgrounds and desires make each person unique and fit differently.
