But wait! This is funny. , 05/09/2007

I liked the first book in the Maria Hart series so much that when I saw that the second had been released I picked it up. I was certainly not disappointed. Eliminating the Middleman is even better than Dead Men Don?t Jog. It seems the author is developing his style and creating a likable character who will be around for quite some time. Maria Hart is three dimensional and down to earth and I like her. The story is hysterical as Maria goes after an infomercial killer. All of the characters are caricatures of those annoying people on television. There are subplots as well where Maria helps a friend and her husband solve problems. I recommend this book to anyone who wants a suspenseful, but light and funny story. Be careful though, you may become addicted to Maria Hart!

I hate infomercials and all of the people who are on them! This book is hysterical and I got to see many of my least favorite TV people killed off. I was doubled over with laughter as I read this book. There are also some good moral lessons in the book too as the main character is a woman of good character. Good and clean fun!
