Abstract:
Papa’s Last Request is the extraordinary story of young Deana Dalton, whose endeared papa epitomizes good in life. However, after his death, an absurd conversation overheard by the girl bears ominous implications for her. Consequentially, she is haunted by the ghost of her papa, which recurrently returns for her like a body-snatching demon. Prayer and mental survival tactics are instrumental in helping her cope. Incredibly, in the shocking finale, her older sister, Minnie, pulls the plug on her nightmarish predicament.
