Abstract:
An Ethic of Hope is brings together both Christian and secular ethics into a singular point of view. Its underlying assumption is that the substance of our faith and the values of our culture constitute the strength and effectiveness of our moral personality. The point of this book is that the ethical life is the most enabling environment for the positive reconstruction of people, institutions, and nations. From the Christian perspective, we are summoned by God to this calling, which immediately makes our ethical life a spiritual experience.
