Abstract:
After World War II, hundreds of thousands of young Americans were returning to our homes after years of successfully defending our county all over the world. We just wanted to find that very special person, start our families and lives. We had had enough of war and all the misery it brings. Probably 99.9% shared very little or nothing with others, yet every single one of them had a story to tell. Today it is sad that a thousand a day are going to their graves and with each one a small piece of history that will never be known goes with them.
