This is a good book on Bill Monroe for all blue grass fans. You can see how Bill lived and how much he was loved by those around him. He was a simple country boy who could play and sing and write some of the best music there is.

Great Tribute to Bill Monroe , 10/05/2008
Reviewer: D Hamilton
My late husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Bill Monroe in 1993 at the Grand Ole Opry; where we became instant friends and he invited us along with my sister Kaye to his place and treated us like family. It was the visit of a lifetime being on his land and meeting Javonda(Charlene Smith) who became a lifelong friend as well. I really appreciate you putting pictures of Don Hamilton in your book, it means the world to me. Charlene, you did a wonderful job writing about Bill's life and wish you much success and happienss. Your Friend, Dorothy Hamilton
