In "The Steps of a Good Man," Dr. Thomasina Jones explicitly unveils what qualities women should search for in a prospective mate. However this book is not only for females. Jones also does an excellent job in displaying the traits God wishes for men to encompass. As a man, I intend to use this publication as a manual to follow and instruct me in my everyday life. It is obvious that Dr. Jones put tremendous effort and time into writing this piece. Support her and buy it, you will not be dissapointed. God bless!

Dr. Jones has outdone herself this time. I so totally agree that this book is not just for women. I plan on sharing this book with my pastor and some of our church ministries such as the prison and young adult singles ministries. I couldn't put the book down. I'm hopeful that Dr. Jones will author a similar book about women soon. I'll be the first in line to buy it!

The Steps of a Good Man is a very well written and thoroughly researched book for men and women alike. I especially appreciate all of the scriptures that Dr. Jones used to back up her statements. I intend to purchase another edition for my husband and teenage son and I will encourage the women in my prayer group to read this book! I firmly believe that The Steps of a Good Man would be a great selection for a church’s book ministry to read and discuss.

The book was great,informative and to the point. I am always hearing there are no good men,now I can use your book as a tool to help a women detect a good man in the Lord. I defiantly need to let the Youth Advocate Program know about this book. A lot of young girls have low self esteem, don't know the Lord and have no respect for themselves. I am passing the book on to my girls to read .

At the end of the book i said to myself, "Yes, this is what women need, a 'How to distinguish a good man manual'". Dr. Jones goes above and beyond to show us women that there are good men in the world, we just were using the wrong standards to define them. I especially enjoyed her chapters 'a good man has integrity' & 'a good man is a good husband'. This book is a great read and everyone, men and women alike, shall find a valuable message in her book, The Steps of a Good Man.

I need to just say that after reading your book, which I could not put down, I felt inspired and blessed. It definitely helped me in making a major decision in my life; I needed confirmation from God, found it in your book. Through your words He was able to make me see that what I was about to do was not what He wanted for me. I thank you so much for your words and most of all for your dedication to our Lord and Savior and for writing such an incredible book. I am now waiting upon the Lord because I know He will give me my heart’s desires, it will be in His timing.

In my opinion this is a fine book of instructions founded in Gods Word, that would be profitable for every premarital counselor to share with their perspective marriage candidates. For young women to know what God expects in a husband and for young men to know what the word of God demands of them. This would be a great book for young married couples devotions. I think what makes this book an excellent tool for counselors is that Dr. Jones has backed up with scripture every thought that she brought forward. Joel D. Taylor Sr.
