Abstract: The House on Rondo Creek is the story of the Nelson and Dolores Whitman clan who vacation in upstate New York at a house that was used on the Underground Railroad during the Civil War. Nelson, as was shown in the book Woodlawn Cemetery was given a gift that enabled him to communicate with spirits. A massacre occurred in 1862 at the house and the spirits of the murdered escaped slaves roam the property seeking closure. Although all the clan can see those ghosts, only Nelson has the ability to talk with them.
