Vol.2 takes over where vol.1 left off. Dan Black, 1970s police officer, pursues the murderous Ischyres, will he again evade? Dan gets a new ‘itch’ about evil’s origin and permanence. Romance buds, but will it fade in a shadow of neglect?

Abstract:
Officer Dan Black and his partner Ben White, continue to encounter a smorgasbord of police calls, crimes, tragedies, and elations on street patrol in the 1970s Cincinnati. Darkness in Daylight,Vol.2 picks up where The Game of the Blues, Vol.1, left off. Dan’s pursuits become three fold. One, for the apprehension of an increasingly evil Ischyres and his murderous bank robbers. Second, a budding romance with Nancy that is threatened with an out of town relocation. And thirdly, Dan’s new itch draws him into a deeper inquiry in how social beliefs affect crime and the origin of evil.
