Abstract:
We’ve all heard about the U.S. Air Force’s flying operations. Not as well known, but no less important, is its missile force. It’s the under-the-ground Air Force. Death From Below is the evolving story of the underground Air Force, told through the lives of two career missilemen. Pete Evans and Dave Oswald are unfriendly rivals; early for the same woman, later for position and promotion as their adversarial paths cross in the relatively small missile ‘business’. Dave hates Pete. His objective: sabotage Pete’s military career and marriage. But Pete gets payback opportunity. Their tale is related through romance, danger, intrigue and treachery.
