Abstract:
Officers Dan Black and his partner Ben White encounter their greatest battles with evil, crime, and death. Many of life’s uncertainties re-emerge as Dan struggles with romantic feelings for two women, while battling his arch enemy and genotype of evil. Ray, Dan's philosophic confidant, suggests life’s struggle equates somehow with sanding the tractor before repainting. Nevertheless, Ray’s insight doesn’t ‘strike home’ for Dan, until after he and Ben’s finale encounter with Ischyres. Discovering the key to living at peace in chaos is an unsettling event. Will they, can they embrace it?

Whew -- I'm sure glad I've finished this book. Now maybe I can get something else done! I picked it up every time I had a minute or two because it was so gripping that I just had to see what happened next. I knew the author had really pulled me into the story when I woke up two nights in a row worrying about the characters! Excellent action writing, a whole gamut of emotions, and great insights into the working of the police department and those officers who put their lives on the line for the public. This is one book you'll be glad you read.

I have read all three of the first books. God has given you a gift. I always knew you had a wild imagination, and a gift of gab. I am so glad you are putting that talent to good use. I read most of the books while waiting in public places like restaurants, doctor’s offices, cars service, and etc. It is a good thing I read portions of Volume 3 at home. Chapter 23 was so intense and moving I busted out crying. Glad that did not happen in public.
