Abstract:
It will be a very long time before Skissley recognizes the full impact 1962 is destined to have on her! Of course she can see the obvious situations at hand, as well as how they have affected her and her family. This includes the usual, mostly expected things; from moving to brutal weather to sickness to boredom to loneliness to teenage angst! All par in Skissley’s young life! However, when she is suddenly left alone with three younger children to care for, a whole new realm opens up to her—the need for her to think outside the box!
