Abstract:
History lets us believe things that might not be true. Some are lies that have been told so often that they are taken as fact. Some topics suffer from incomplete information and we don’t always appreciate what we don’t know. Over the centuries much has been lost with the death of those that knew the facts. Otto Bauer was an old man and the last man who could provide a link to unknown and dangerous history. Facing death, he wanted to liberate a secret that he had held close for over seventy-five years. It was a secret that threatened the lives of millions and he was frustrated by not knowing someone he could trust until he met Bryan Reed. Bryan accepted responsibility for learning Otto’s secret, but sometimes the best-kept secrets escape and then the bad things can happen.
