Biography:

Lee Lamond brings technology and his extensive travel experience to his writing. At the age of seventeen he joined the merchant marine and found himself on the high seas in the company of ex-convicts. After graduating with a degree in engineering he continued to travel to over fifty-two countries including a nine hundred and fifty mile back pack trip across Europe. Lee is a student of the people and cultures he has visited and many of the specific locations in his works are real. In all of his work his characters are victims of unexpected events that change the direction and purpose of their lives. Lee holds three degrees and several patents.

Spoils of the Game
Austin Clay travels to Paris on a project to rescue aging works of art which was begun by his deceased wife. At the Louvre he meets Madeline, a museum employee, and an adventure begins. In a country village they learn that three paintings stolen by the Nazis are hidden in an old barn. After hearing of the strange death of the artist who died centuries before, Austin begins to believe that the artist's works may hold clues to a five hundred year old mystery. The French underworld learns of their possible discovery and soon Austin and Madeline's hunt becomes an effort to survive. In the end, some win and some lose, but the real winners are unexpected. read more
