Hitler’s rise to power threatens the existence of a Jewish family, the Sturm’s. However, after years of searching in several countries a miracle brings the surviving sisters together in Australia.

Abstract:
“Miracles” tells the story of Hitler’s rise to power and its effect on two families, the Sturm’s, who are Jewish, and the Verhulst’s. Monique Verhulst, a friend of the Sturm’s, works in the Dutch resistance during the Nazi occupation. She is not able to save them from the Gestapo’s long arm, and they die in the concentration camp. However, Monique does not know that one daughter, Hannah, escapes. The second daughter, Titia, was sent to America. After years of separation, a miracle reunites them in Australia after the war ends.
