Mr. Hoey was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1942, and has resided most of his life along the East Coast. During the early sixties he was a singer/songwriter, which was the impetus for his three published poetry collections.

He describes St. Michaels as “a labor of love.” Cabo Cay, his second book, will be released around Christmas 2003.

You’ll find both his novels warm and touching, yet filled with the kind of excitement and joy that make them difficult to put down.

Mr. Hoey currently lives at the New Jersey shore and is promoting his works on a regular basis with poetry readings and author nights.
