Biography:

A New York State resident, Anne enjoys researching regional topics and has published in several magazines. When not following her writing pursuits, Anne’s other interests include designing greeting cards, traveling, hiking, photography, and volunteering as a docent at the New York State Military Museum.

Realizing the historical and personal significance of hazardous occupations, Anne has written two books, Peril in the Powder Mills and The Powder Mill Gates, detailing the dangers faced by the men who worked in America’s early gunpowder mills. Another of Anne’s books, The Wreck of the Mary A. Brown, underlines the day-to-day courage of the daring Gloucester fishermen.
