The Author was born in the former Soviet Union and has a Masters Degree in electrical engineering. In 1979, her family immigrated to America to escape growing anti-Semitism. Her business career was very successful and somehow unusual for a woman, particularly considering her foreign origin. She climbed to high business positions working for very prestigious companies. She was one of the first people who entered the field of computer security and became an internationally accredited specialist in this area. She currently lives in Florida and discovers herself in volunteering for various community services and writing.
