Tricia C. lived most of her life in the Midwest, but was drawn to northern CA at the end of the 20th century to experience the beauty and history of the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada range. Her interest in Native Americans, their reverence for the land, and their storytelling around the campfire as a way of teaching principles through oral tradition, influenced these stories. The Principles of the 12-Step program of Alcoholics Anonymous is the focus of her life, and of this book.
