Richard graduated from Farmingdale University with a science degree but during his studies he minored in literature and writing. He has been a Funeral Director for twenty-eight years and a Adjunct Professor of Mortuary Science for twenty-two years. He has taught at Long Island universities and Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan. Richard is currently working for one of the most prestigious funeral firms in New York and has been a union representative for twenty-six years. He is married with two daughters and lives in a beautiful beachfront community near the harbor. He is well-versed and experienced to write a novel about this cryptic industry.
