The author is a retired bookkeeper and lives in Versailles, Kentucky. Her love of writing began soon after high school, 50 years ago, when she worked for the small weekly newspaper in her hometown of Williamsburg, Kentucky. She self-published her first book, a history of her family, in 2001. Writing, reading, making quilts, doing needlepoint, her family and her church keep her busy and happy.
