Roger is in his mid-sixties and has spent his career as a senior officer of investment firms. He has been writing since his schooldays and has completed a number of works of fiction and plays. His first non-fiction book, A Diet for the Beer-Drinking Man, is currently being published by Infinity Publishing.

After completing training with the Marine Corps in 1960, he attended college evenings and weekends, working as a bookkeeper during weekdays.

Much of what you will read in Thirty-Third Street Lover is semi-autobiographical; events which happened to him after his first divorce, when he was living in an old walk-up on Thirty-Third Street in New York City.
