C.D. Payne is the author of six humorous novels, including his cult-favorite first novel Youth in Revolt, which is now in development as a movie by Dimension Films. Another novel, Frisco Pigeon Mambo, has been purchased by Twentieth Century-Fox for an animated feature film. Payne’s novels have been translated into many languages and are popular with European readers. He also has published a collection of short humor pieces, Cut to the Twisp. His first play, Queen of America, recently premiered in San Jose. He is a graduate of Harvard College and lives in California.
