The same story, but not in a bad way , 09/23/2006
Reviewer: Mike
Imagine if you will the events of Youth in Revolt taking place during the modern day, as opposed to 1994 the year in which the original novel(s) is (are) set. This is the tale of Noel Wescott, Nick Twisp's younger brother, who just so happens to be very similar to his big brother. In this novel Payne introduces us to even more intriguing characters, such as Tyler's two best friends, one who is a pyromaniac that possibly has tourettes syndrom, the other who happens to be a beautiful girl, that is under the impression that she is a manly lesbian. As if thats not enough, we meet Noel's cousin Tyler (his sister Joannie's son) and the child of Paul Saunders, who very much takes after her aunt Sheenie.
