Biography:

An adjunct professor of English, William Allison brought history alive for Philadelphia high school students for many years. Named Principal of the Year in 1996, Allison retired to write books and articles, roaming historical societies, libraries, battlefields, and the Internet to base his work on real people and events. Father to four children, grandfather to six, Bill is married to the great-great-granddaughter of George and Harriet.
