A graduate of the University of Notre Dame with masters degrees in English and music, John Probst taught and directed plays at a small northern California college for over twenty-five years. John is the author of several novels, short stories and plays as well as a number of vocal and instrumental pieces. His most recent effort recounts the trials and triumphs of his experiences from the time he first arrived in Quincy until his retirement. John continues to live in Quincy but is enjoying his retirement, which has included travels to Europe and China.
