Harold Robert (Hal) Huth has been writing essays and technical documents for the greater part of his life. He is retired from the U.S. Army and from Blinn College, where he was employed as a professor of Economics. He has traveled extensively in 49 states in the United States, plus in 25 foreign countries. He and his wife Polly live in Austin, Texas and continue to travel whenever possible. Huth is a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), the Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH) and the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). He has written one earlier book, published in 1999.
