Dr. Mark J. Hovee, Psy.D. is a clinical psychologist who originally obtained a B.A. in Political Science from Seattle University, and advanced degrees from Boston College and George Fox University in Political Philosophy and Clinical Psychology respectively. He completed his internship from a psychiatric hospital in the Appalachian region of Kentucky nine years ago. He has subsequently worked for a community mental health center for five years prior to going into private practice.

His practice has included clinical work in both a men’s and women’s prison, psychiatric hospital, and a long-term care facility. He also is a Reserve psychologist, and was recently deployed to Germany for a year stint.
