Iowa born and Berkeley, California, raised, the author has included forty years of her life in songs and poems. Songs with geographical references are some of her favorites, which include locally inspired tunes such as: “Tonight I Fell In Love With Maryland”,
“Sharpsburg Pike Country Boy Blues”, and “Fool Moon Over Williamsport”. Nature ballads of
North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and California, reflect her travels as a road musician. “Poems of Fury and Shame” are creations borne out of the author’s attempts to process unpleasant experiences and turn them into an amusing sting of reality.
