Dwight Riggs is a retired pastor and Army Chaplain, having served twenty-six years in various military assignments in the US, Europe, and a veteran of the Gulf War, retiring with the rank of Colonel. He graduated with a B.A. from Free Will Baptist Bible College, Nashville, Tenn, received a M.A. from Columbia Bible College, Columbia, S.C., an additional M.Ed from Middle Tennessee State University, Murfreesboro, Tenn., and completed his residency for a Ph.D. at Bob Jones University, Greenville, S.C. He and his wife Cathy have been happily married for forty-six years and have two adult children, a daughter, Elizabeth, and a son, Derrick, who presently serves as an Army Chaplain--just like his dad.
