Born on a homestead in Eastern Montana, the author has spent most of her life in or around Central California. Upon retirement, she and her husband moved to Maui for 17 years, returned to California, and now reside in the wine country. An avid reader, she began writing when she retired. When inspiration for a book starts, the characters are unknown to her, but they soon take over the story and only occasionally does she have to put the brakes on them. It’s always her hope her readers will enjoy the characters and their stories as much as she enjoys writing them.
