Scott Kriner is a Christian in the United Church of Christ denomination. He has served his church as deacon and elder on the Consistory for 15 years, including two terms as President. He has chaired and participated on many other committees and task groups at the church. Scott is also a percussionist and performs in the Praise Band, youth musicals and special music during worship services.

Scott is married and has two boys in college. Professionally, he is a consultant in the sustainable building construction industry. Aside from his love of the church, he enjoys gardening, soccer and travel.
