Elizabeth (Betsy) Hower’s youth was spent in the Mid-West and her high school and college years were in the South (BA in Biology from UNCG). Her professional career culminated in the Executive Directorship of a riverboat for 17 years. Uncle Aaron Dunkle really is her distant ancestor. Retired now, she lives outside of Gettysburg, PA, and she spends time between her family and substitute teaching. She is passionate about sharing the story of Abraham Lincoln with children. She also diligently works to further the perpetuation of the union. She is blessed with two sons and five grandsons.
