Ann Emerson was born in West Texas, grew up in Eastern New Mexico and now resides in Centennial, CO with her husband. She is a former middle school language arts teacher and corporate trainer. Her writing began at age seven with a play performed by her Brownie troop. Since then she has written poems, short stories and technical handbooks in both education and corporate worlds. Ann believes that Just A Dog is special because it brings to mind the happy magical times of childhood so needed in our pressured adult lives.
