Biography:

Wanda Weiskopf has written poetry since her childhood in Missouri, where her “baseball” poems were regularly read over the state-wide radio network of the St. Louis Cardinals. Her first collection of poems, “All Is Not Winter,” received high critical praise, such as: “Wanda has given us a book of pure joy.....the poetry is exquisite!” --World of Poetry. Her recent memoir, “On the Wings of Song: My Life with the Maestro,” describes her life as a singer, married to the late European opera and symphony conductor, Herbert Weiskopf. She now resides in Burbank, California, a member emerita of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
