Daniel E. Whitchurch, author of The Pied Piper Project: Russia’s Child, has spent most of the past twenty-eight years at the controls of an eighteen wheeler, using the long, quiet hours of cross-country driving to create plots and characters for his fiction novels. He and his wife, avid sailors, have logged thousands of miles in the San Juan Islands and sailed to the Bahamas and Caribbean. He is currently at work on the second book in the Pied Piper series.
