Biography:

Born in Spain at the start of the Civil War, the author spent his formative years hearing first-hand accounts of the conflict; he witnessed a country ravaged by misery and hunger. He received his B.S. and M.Sc. degrees in Civil Engineering from Rutgers University and is a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers. His engineering career involved him in numerous projects in the U.S., Canada, India, Pakistan, Spain, Venezuela, Colombia and the Caribbean. After retiring, the author turned his energies to writing historical novels. His other works include A Journey of Fear—The Flight of the Anasazi to Mesa Verde and the unpublished Journey of Manu.
