Robert J. Stock served in the United States Army during World War 2 and later graduated from Penn State University with a B. S. degree in mechanical engineering. He worked for thirty-six years with the General Electric Co. After retiring from the General Electric, he taught mathematics at Penn State University, Delaware County. He and his wife Jean raised four adopted children.
