Randy Koch’s vivid imagination and Christian faith have led down many intriguing paths, including envisioning Simon Peter’s mindset between Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection, as brought to life in his most recent work. Another of his passions, the American Civil War, has produced Eyes Toward the South, focusing upon the failed plot to free Confederate prisoners from Johnson’s Island, near Sandusky, Ohio, and Eyes Toward the North, which follows slaves fleeing north aboard the Underground Railroad, through Sandusky. Randy’s a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church and is active with local history organizations. He lives in Sandusky with his wife, Christine.
